Where Do You Fit?

Minor Bad Credit

Defaults or CCJ less than £500, registered more than 3 years ago and satisfied within 6 months – You may qualify for high street lenders

Recent Bad Credit

1 CCJ or Default in the last 12 months for a value of less than £1,500 or multiple defaults or CCJ’s registered more than 2 years ago – you will have a good chance of obtaining a mortgage with a specialist lender.

Bankruptcy / IVA

Bankruptcy – this will need to be discharged more than 3 years ago, a large deposit of about 35% of the purchase price will be required. IVA – this will need to be discharged more than 6 years ago, a large deposit of about 35% of the purchase price will be required.

Been Repossessed

This will need to be more than 6 years ago, a large deposit of about 35% of the purchase price will be required.
